Customer Ratings: - Wanted to like them. As ideas go, I thought iPod tubes were pretty hot. Pity about reality.
In principle: they protect your iPod nano and add a range of nice, interchangeable colours beyond the one your purchased.
In practice: the protection element is limited, since the tubes don t protect the nano s easily scratched screen (probably the most vulnerable part) at all. Further, the colour change factor only really works for G1 white nanos/ at a pinch G2 silver nanos... for other colours of device these are pretty much a dud as an exterior colour-changing accessory. - My review. Great delivery but the case, it was hard to nagigate the wheel and you had to pull the cover pack to hold , which was v.annoying. Put it did protect me from getting the nano scratched, so i can t really complain.
- Very good at keeping the iPod safe!. Hi! When I first got my iPod (9 Months ago now) I was worried that my little iPod would get scratched and damaged, it looked so gorgeous, haha I didn t want that to happen so... I bought these, when I got them about 7 Months ago, I was shocked as to how they fitted the iPod so well.
I have had them on my iPod for 7 Months and they really have kept it free from damage, I ve dropped my iPod on concrete and other hard suraces countless times and it still works perfectly. One thing is though if you do want to keep the iPod clean and preferably free of as many scratches as possible you will have to take it out from the case and give it a clean with a wipe every now & again because dirt etc collects underneath them!
My fave colour is green, I ve had it on there for ages, it s really funky looking, there s a variety of basic colours to suit anyone in any mood, buy them, they re the best iPod Protection I ve been able to find! The only reason I ve given them 4/5 & not 5/5 is because like all other iPod protection I don t feel they fully keep the iPod clean & safe, because when cleaning out the muck, I make more scratches, but they protect it well if not keep the iPod clean. - Just what i was looking for!. I was looking for a protective case for my new ipod (2nd gen)nano and didnt want to fork out more than a tenner. It says there meant for 1st gen nanos but as they re so cheap i took a chance and bought the tubes. When they came i was delighted to see tht they actually fit! Its a tiny bit looser than it shud be and the power button doesnt quite line up but the ipod is still easily useable! They look great and are great value for money as u get 5 diff colors!
- my new ipod nano tubes. I ordered these tubes a few days ago for my black iPod Nano and they came today. They are so cute! When they first came I put the purple tube on my iPod and i also left the screen sheet proctector in case there are scratches or that might get scratched. I wish they protected the screen as meny of you im sure u agree but that isn t a bad thing i suppose, my ipod works great with it on and its so much easyer instead of the sock as u have to keep taking it out, but the tubes are viewable which is so much better :) i paid £8.49 they are not the offical apple ones but they do the job and would recommend them to any iPod Nano owner who wants their ipod proctected from scratches etc!!!
